Quickwrite Post 4
The one time I had incorrectly jumped to a conclusion about someone that I remember most memorably was in last year. A new student named Ashley came to our class. Judging from his funny British accent and annoying jokes he made, I had immediately but erroneously had believed that he would be a horrible person and an impossible person to be with. However, I am not sure of anyone jumping to a conclusion about me. But I do know what the situation felt like. It was very embarrassing of me that I felt ever so confident while I was completely wrong. It felt that the whole Earth and its people were crushing me down like everyone’s eyes just stared me to death. Unfortunately, the mistake was not corrected. From that experience, I have learned to not judge people all of a sudden but slowly and learn about them.

Blog Post #2
To make a scary setting in a story, I would make the room small and dark, filled with little stuffed animals staring at you intently. I would also make the door and floor creak. I would make the wind outside blow softly. I would make the room seem dusty and leaves hustling on the inside. Outside the room, the weather would be gloomy.
Here is a paragraph composed of the details above:
David Goldlen walked inside of the room. Clearly, the room hadn’t been used for a long time. It was dusty and the lights didn’t work properly. As he slowly stepped across the room, the old wooden boards began to creak because the mice had eaten away parts of the boards. Suddenly, the wind outside began to slowly howl and the leaves began to hustle. The skies began to turn gray and dark , threatening to destroy David. The lights inside began to flicker as a door from a closet swung open and fell. The stuffed animals on the shelves seemed to stare at David.

Blog Post #1
Over many years, many scary movies have been made. Dracula, SAW, Final Destination, all many popular movies. However, the scariest I have ever seen in my entire life was not The Blog or Resident Evil. Instead, it is a very simple children’s movie. Honestly, many people don’t think it scary but going into another world and seeing people with buttoned eyes and getting stuck there forever seems kinda scary. The story begins with a girl named Coraline Jones. She moves to a place called Pink Palace Apartments. Because her parents are busy making a catalog, she feels alone and abandoned. She meets Wyborn, the grandson of the landlady. He finds a doll that looks exactly like Coraline and gives it to her. When she goes home, she finds a small door. However, when opened, she only finds a brick wall. That night, when Coraline was awakened by mice that came through the door. However, this time, the door wasn’t covered by the brick wall, but a long corridor leading to the other side. There she meets the Other Father and Mother. However, the Other Mother and Father have buttons sewn on to them. The next morning, she finds herself in her bed. She meets her neighbors who warn her that she is in danger. It happens for a few nights until one night, the Other Mother doesn’t let Coraline “leave”. I won't spoil the ending for yours to watch, but gee, just writing this makes me remember how frightened I was.
